Legal information
Privacy policy
This explains what data we collect when you ask us for a quote, what we use it for and how to exercise your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018. This is a translation; if in doubt, the Spanish version prevails.
Controller
HANDYMAN PROJECT, S.L. (Manitas Efectivas), tax ID B72431752, Calle Nicolás Salmerón 38, 28017 Madrid, Spain. Privacy contact: manitasefectivas@gmail.com.
What data we process
What you give us in the quote form: who the job is for, services, job details, the address where the work is needed, any photos you attach, your name, phone and email.
Anything you send us by email or phone, and the minimum technical data needed to protect the form from spam (a scrambled fingerprint of your IP address that cannot identify you).
Why, and on what legal basis
To answer your request and prepare a quote: your request and the pre-contractual steps you ask for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent when you send the form (Art. 6(1)(a)).
To do the work and invoice it if you hire us: performance of the contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
To protect the form against abuse: our legitimate interest in preventing spam (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for advertising or sell it, and we make no automated decisions about you.
How long we keep it
If the job does not go ahead, we delete the request and its photos after 12 months. If it does, we keep the data for as long as the relationship lasts and then for the periods the law requires (for example 6 years for business records and 4 for tax records).
Who else processes it
We do not share your data with third parties unless the law requires it. To run the service we use providers that process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement: Cloudflare (web hosting and spam protection), Supabase (backup of requests and photos), Notion (request management), Resend (email delivery) and Google (email).
Some are based in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time by emailing manitasefectivas@gmail.com. We reply within one month.
If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
